ICT BASED SUMMARY AND ED PUZZLE FOR TEACHER REVIEW
Assalamualaikum came
back with me Irma in Irma's notes. how
are you all? Hopefully always in good
health. Good, this time Irma will
provide information on a website that can help a teacher to more easily provide
material and questions to students. The
website is called ed puzzle, Not only that, I will also review Rubistar, Quizziz and also Irubric. just see the following explanation .
1. RUBISTAR
Rubistar is a simple
online rubric generator where students and teachers can choose from pre-made
rubrics or design their own. You can
create sections without creating an account, or register for easier access to
all content. To create a rubric, simply
select a topic like "Writing," "Art," or "Oral
Projects," and Rubistar will provide an online generator tool with
drop-down menus for various criteria.
Once the criteria are selected, the website automatically fills in each
box with a language that determines what the criteria will look like at a 1st,
2, 3, or 4 ranking.
Rubrics made with Rubistar can be converted into print
media. if you have created an account,
it can be saved for later. Stored
rubrics can be edited, duplicated, analyzed, or deleted. Rubrics can also be made temporary or
permanent; Temporary rubrics expire in
one week, and permanent rubrics are stored in the user's library
indefinitely. Rubrics are also given an
ID number to find later.
Benefits of rubriStar
Rubistar can be used as a teacher tool to facilitate
project-based classroom learning. Rubric
gives students a clear understanding of an achievement or criteria for doing a
task. The hope can be used as feedback
in accordance with the assessment rubric.
In addition, students can use this site to create their own rubric for
projects, thinking critically about how to judge quality or success. They can even define their own rating
categories, as well as criteria that create exemplary or run-of-the-mill
projects. But the website itself doesn't
teach you how to make a good rubric, so the quality of learning really depends
on the people using it. Basically you
should already know how to design a useful rubric, and Rubistar is your input
template.
2. Quizizz
is an interesting and fun game show-style quiz tool. It has web-based versions and iOS, Android,
and Chrome apps for students. Teachers
create accounts, but for students it's optional. Students access the quiz on their device or
computer using an access code, and they can view questions and answers on their
screens. There is a database of hundreds
of quizzes that can be browsed, and teachers can use or edit them to suit their
needs (including selecting and selecting only specific questions). When creating their own quiz (limited to one
or more multiple choice), teachers can add images as well as adjust the
feedback that students see after each question on the quiz. Quizzes can be organized into collections to
make them easier to find and organize.
Feedback comes in the form of memes (either premade or custom), which
are displayed based on true or false answers.
Students can take the quiz together on a competitive basis as
a class (and see the progress of classmates), or the teacher can assign the
quiz as homework and have students complete it on their own time. The quiz advances by itself as students
answer.
3. iRubrics
iRubric has a function
that is not much different from Rubistar which can make it easier for teachers
to decide on a grading scale to assess student performance against a series of
assignment-specific criteria. Rubrics,
or grading scales, are usually created to measure student performance based on
a predetermined set of criteria. It
contains the essential criteria for the task as well as the appropriate level
of performance for each criterion. So
that teachers can easily find out to what extent students are able to carry out
assignments according to predetermined criteria.
ED PUZZLE for Teacher
Edpuzzle itself is a website
that can help select learning videos, then edit, cut, record sound and add
questions. With edpuzzle, the activity
of watching learning videos for students is more interactive and involves
students actively.
HOW TO USE
The learning
innovation that is being carried out is utilizing the learning resource feature
for quizzes using edpuzzle. More details
regarding the steps for learning innovation that can be done are:
1. Go to the edpuzzle website. https://edpuzzle.com/
2. Register an account with edpuzzle as a teacher.
3. Register using a google account or create your
own edpuzzle account.
4. After that, register the name of the school on
the Edpuzzle account if no teacher at the school has ever registered an account
on edpuzzle.
5. After registering the name of the school, the
teacher's account in edpuzzle is ready for use.
6. Next, we take advantage of the learning videos
from the learning resources that have been downloaded for us to make
content. You do this by clicking my
content and uploading the learning video file that we downloaded earlier and
clicking add content.
7. After we upload learning videos that are used as
content, the next step is to edit our video content. The step is to click the box at the bottom of
the learning video that we are going to edit.
8. In this section, there is an option to cut the
video, if not the entire duration of the video we use for student
learning. Then add the questions as a
quiz. We can raise this question at
whatever duration we want. Question form
can be multiple choice or essay.
9. Then the questions will appear in the learning
video that we have made into content . teacher also can give task make a project for students.
10. We can also set the last time to complete the
assignment. Furthermore, we can assign the content of the learning video. The teacher can use create a class and invite
students to use the link to enter the edpuzzle class.
11. Then the edpuzzle content is ready to be
assigned to students according to the class we will provide the material and
time available on the learning schedule.
12. Students can work on the edpuzzle quiz
assignment by logging into their edpuzzle account as students.
The use of edpuzzle to deliver the learning
videos that we download from this learning resource has benefits, including:
1. The teacher knows how long students watch
the instructional videos provided by the teacher, and how many statistics for
the completion of watching the learning videos.
2. The teacher measures the student's
absorption or understanding of the material contained in the learning video which
is used as edpuzzle content. This
activity of measuring absorption can be seen from students' answers to the
questions asked in the edpuzzle learning video content.
The learning video content in Learning
Resources has gone through a content test to see the suitability of the
material content with the curriculum. In
addition, the duration of the learning videos contained in the learning
resources is short and has material that is concise and easy for students to
understand. The purpose of this short duration
is so that students do not get bored quickly when listening to learning videos.
This is one of the
learning innovations that can be used during distance learning by utilizing the
Learning Resources and edpuzzle features.
Hopefully this will be useful for all teachers and students.
so
